I know i’m a little off topic, but i just wanted to say i love the layout of your blog. i’m new to the blogegine platform, so any suggestions on getting my blog looking nice would be appreciated.

Well it depends on your knowledge of CSS really.
Editing theme files isnt too difficult. The PHP code is fairly easy to understand but the main task is having a solid css file for your theme.
I spent about 4/5 full days on the css for my theme.
Best to find a theme which is pretty close to what you’re trying to achieve and slowly modify bits to suit your needs.
